Staff Notes
The city has obtained a quote from Opterra Solutions the contractor selected to maintain the ponds participating in the detention pond maintenance program. The City has found privately owned detention ponds in the Lost Mountain Lakes and Country Walk subdivisions that have not been maintained. This work would be the first maintenance work in these ponds. Additional work will need to be required in the future to remove large trees, and repair of structures.
Lost Mountain Lakes subdivision HOA has requested to be included in this program. The HOA has requested that the HOA be billed $10,000 and the remainder be billed across the homeowners. The HOA has elected to not include the pond at 2758 Lost Lakes Drive or 2658 Coolwood Cove in this assessment.
