Staff Notes

The City intends to submit an application to the Georgia Emergency Management and Homeland Security Agency for funding under the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program to acquire emergency generators for the City Hall and Public Works facilities. If awarded, the grant will provide federal funding for 75% of total project costs and the City will be required to provide a 25% local match. This resolution will show the City’s support of the application and commitment to providing the local funding match.
