Staff Notes
Verizon Trial Agreement to demo the latest Verizon Cradle Point MiFi option to replace current Sono’s MiFi’s. MiFi’s are currently used to provide internet connectivity to access necessary software for users to do their job. For example, it allows the police department to connect to the VPN providing access to various mobile applications in their patrol vehicles.
This 45 day agreement is strictly to allow the city to demo the Verizon Cradle Point MiFi to determine if there is a need to pursue this option.
