Staff Notes
The purpose of this work order is to excavate the sink hole on Hollow Stream Trail to determine the root cause, perform any necessary repairs, and replace the displaced earth with appropriate backfill material and compaction, and re-establish the travel lane and storm water infrastructure to normal operating condition.
Staff recommends approval of a work order to be issued to S.H. Creel Contracting LLC in the amount of $43,805.70 to repair failing stormwater infrastructure on Hollow Stream Trail.  S.H. Creel Contracting LLC is a qualified contractor to which the Mayor and City Council awarded an on-call contract for stormwater system repairs.  Based on the unit prices in S.H. Creel Contracting LLC proposal, the firm is the lowest cost vendor for this project.
