Staff recommends approval of the Architectural Design Review. The plan represents a substantial improvement of the building’s facade, and replacing the pitched roof with a flat roof returns the building to its original configuration and is in conformity with other historical brick buildings in the area.
The Planning and Zoning commission was supportive of the new design, the proposed improvements, and repairs to the façade, as well as the removal of the pitched roof.
