Staff Notes
City staff recommends a change to the multifamily and rental inspections section of the Unified Development Code to require licensing and inspections for single family structures that are renter occupied. As drafted, this applies to all rental housing where the owner owns and rents more than one unit in the City limits.
Additionally, amendments to development recommendations are also being considered. These amendments include a revision to the recently adopted lighting standards and additional requirements regarding slopes in new development.
