Staff Notes

The Downtown Business Group is holding events on several dates in December and are requesting to close Marietta Street for these events. The dates for the street closures are December 9, 2022, December 16, 2022, and December 23, 2022. The request is to close Marietta Street from Lewis Road to Pineview Drive for the hours of 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Additionally, they are putting together  game for October and November that is based off of the board game ‘Clue’.
•They will put up a small ‘station’ in the Thurman Springs Park and the Paseo that will be an ‘outdoor brochure holder’ attached to a post. These would be used for additional clues in the game, and will be well labeled with what their purpose is.
•they will make the last day of the game be on Small Business Saturday(Nov 26th). As they did last year, they are asking to close Marietta Street for the day to encourage people to walk around freely.
