Staff Notes

Naturechem, Inc was the awarded contractor for city maintained, but privately owned detention ponds. This contract was executed on 10/3/2022, following the issuance of  an Invitation to Bid in the summer of 2022. Staff has determined that the detention ponds owned by the City require maintenance. Because of the level of maintenance and equipment required, staff is recommending to contract with NaturChem, Inc./ Opterra Solutions to complete this work. The total cost for the maintenance of 8 ponds is $25,000. This is budgeted under 555-50-4450-522200, Stormwater Repairs and Maintenance.
