A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OR MAYOR PRO TEM TO EXECUTE A RENEWAL AGREEMENT WITH ROBIN ROBERTS PROMOTIONS LLC TO PRODUCE THE 4th ANNUAL BRINGING THE SEA TO THE SPRINGS SEAFOOD FESTIVAL FROM MAY 17 TO MAY 19, 2024; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Powder Springs (“the City”) previously authorized and executed an agreement with Robin Roberts Promotions LLC (“RRP) to plan and execute the Downtown Park Grand Opening & Seafood Festival to establish an annual tourism event; and
WHEREAS, the City and RRP desire to renew their agreement to authorize RRP to produce the third annual Bringing the Sea to the Springs Seafood Festival in May 2024;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the City of Powder Springs that it approves and authorizes the Mayor or Mayor Pro Tem to execute an agreement with Robin Roberts Promotions, LLC to produce the 4th Annual Bringing the Sea to the Springs Seafood Festival on May 17, 18 and 19, 2024, after review and approval by the City Attorney. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon adoption.
SO RESOLVED this 21st day of August, 2024.
